The M249, which was adopted as a squad support weapon by the US military in 1982, has been upgraded to reflect battle lessons even after its adoption, and has transformed into a different form from the original ``Mini-Mi''.
The M249 used by the US military in the 2020s has been improved mainly in the following points.
Two types of barrels, long and short, the gas regulator has been abolished, a rail hand guard and two improved legs have been adopted, a scope has been adopted, a telescopic stock has been adopted, a 200-round cloth magazine has been adopted, etc.
This Little Armory is a 1/12 scale reproduction of the M249 with these improvements (the stock and barrel length can be selected from long or short).
